How
the Commissioning Process Works
Every garden,
like every client, is unique, so a meeting on site at the beginning of a project
discovers three essentials; the individual nature of the space, the particular
requirements from it and the budget’s perameters. This initial consultation
is without charge. Once it is
agreed with the client to go ahead with the commission, a written summary
of the meeting confirms the brief.
After a survey of the site, an outline plan of the garden and proposed scheme
is drawn up and presented to the client for discussion. Any amendments are
then incorporated into the final plan which is used to construct the garden.
The agreed fee for the scheme is payable at this stage. If requested, a full
planting plan may also be provided, this is at an additional cost.
