Karen’s Home collection explores the point where beauty and practical purpose meet; her work asks not only to be admired  but to be touched, used and treasured.

Karen works in Bridport and is inspired by the rugged nature of this part of the South West.  Always fascinated by the naked surface of clay, she adds oxides to the clay body to create the exterior colours whilst retaining its natural texture. The interior surfaces of the pieces are glazed to ensure that they are food safe, in a rich palette of colours reminiscent of this landscape.
